Organizational Structure
Engr. Lloyd Jhon Estampa graduated from Mindanao Polytechnic State College, now USTP, with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
He obtained his Masters in Electronics and Communications Engineering with specialization in Control Systems at Mapua Institute of Technology, now Mapua University and graduated Cum Laude. He is a Doctor of Technology Education from USTP.
He's been in the teaching arena for more than 15 years and has served several years as a Department Chairperson, Extension Program Coordinator, and Lead Facilitator of Social Innovation Programs where students are empowered to innovate solutions for the community.
He is a certified CDIO Master Trainer and a Design Thinking Facilitator trained in Singapore. He is also a former Principal of USTP Senior High School focusing on enhancing STEM curriculum.
Currently, he is the Director of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).
Engr. Aileen Sieras earned her bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Mindanao Polytechnic State College, now USTP. She graduated her master's degree in Computer Engineering at Ateneo de Davao University.
Since 2012, she's been serving as the chairperson for the Department of Computer Engineering under the College of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.
She was trained at Singapore Polytechnic as a CDIO Trainer for Teaching and Learning Framework.
Currently, she is the Program Head for the Conceive Design Implement Operate (CDIO) of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL).
Dr. Rojien Verdon Morcilla, is a highly accomplished Professional Electrical Engineer with over 15 years of expertise in power systems, renewable energy, and energy storage technologies. A licensed engineer with extensive academic credentials, he holds a Doctor of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering Degree from Ateneo de Davao University and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering Degree from the Mindanao University of Science and Technology. His academic work focuses on innovative solutions such as virtual power plants and centralized battery energy storage systems to enhance the efficiency and reliability of power grids.
Dr. Morcilla's career spans consultancy, design, and leadership in major energy projects. As an Electrical System Designer and Consultant, he has led numerous high-impact initiatives, including solar photovoltaic installations, substation designs, and renewable energy assessments across the Philippines. He has provided consultancy services for international organizations such as USAID and the International Finance Corporation, specializing in power contracting and capability planning for rural electric distribution cooperatives.
In academia, Dr. Morcilla has served as Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) and held other key positions, including Technical Head of the USTP Affiliated Renewable Energy Center. He is also a recognized resource speaker at industry conferences, addressing topics such as battery energy storage systems, virtual power plants, and sustainable power technologies.
A published researcher, Dr. Morcilla has contributed to scholarly studies on renewable energy, system optimization, and energy storage solutions, reflecting his commitment to advancing energy innovation. His work has been presented at national and international forums, establishing him as a thought leader in the electrical engineering field.
Dr. Morcilla is an active member of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines and other professional organizations. His dedication to excellence, innovation, and sustainability positions him as a trusted expert and leader in the energy sector.
Arvin Narvaza earned his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in English, and his master's degree in Communication Arts from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan.
He served as an academic head of USTP in 2019, and is now an active faculty of Communication Arts, Languages and Literature.
He's one of EdX Harvard University's Leaders of Learning graduates of 2017 through the American Spaces of the US Embassy in Manila.
Currently, he is a consultant for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP)
Dr. Maria Angeles Dano-Hinosolango is a distinguished educator and Fulbright alumna under the Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program, with Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, as her host institution. She earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English, graduating cum laude, and subsequently completed her Master of Arts in Education (major in Teaching Communication Arts - English) and Doctor of Philosophy in Education at Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan.
As a Design Thinking (DT) trainer and instructor, she was trained in Singapore Polytechnic. She serves as a facilitator and former coordinator of the Learning Express (LeX) program in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic espousing DT in addressing societal concerns.
At USTP, she has held various key leadership roles, including former Coordinator of Technology Communication Management, Chairperson of the Department of Teaching Languages, Director of Student Affairs, and Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs and Services. She has also presented at national and international conferences, published in reputable journals, and served as a reviewer for research abstracts.
She has also pursued specialization in educational technology and artificial intelligence in education through training by CHED, Silliman University, DICT via Coursera, and advanced coursework at the University of Santo Tomas. Currently, Dr. Hinosolango currently serves as Professor VI in the Department of Teaching Languages in the university.
Josephine C. Visande is an accomplished trainer, author, mentor, and professor specializing in language instruction, curriculum development, and assessment in higher education. Dedicated to continuous professional development, she initiated the development and standardization of the College admission test at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) and proposed a policy for special admission for skilled talents.
She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. Her research includes developing critical thinking skills and multiple intelligences, and she has co-authored books on general education courses.
As a faculty member at USTP's College of Sciences and Mathematics, her diverse roles include Head of Curriculum Development at CITL (Jan-Dec 2024), a Test Item Writer (2022 and 2025), Director for Admission and Scholarship (2020-2023), and a CHED GE Trainer since April 2014. Currently she is a consultant at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL)
A distinguished Professor IV at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP), Cagayan de Oro City Campus.
She holds a Doctor of Education specializing in Educational Technology from University Science Malaysia in Penang, Malaysia; a Master in Technician Teacher Education from Mindanao University of Science and Technology in Cagayan de Oro City; and a Bachelor of Secondary Education in Home Economics from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology where she graduated Cum Laude in Iligan City.
Dr. Namoco's contributions continue to inspire her colleagues and students, making her a respected and influential figure in the field of education.
Currently, she is designated as the Program Head for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL)
Engr. John Rey Bajuyo took up his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan. He finished his Master of Engineering Program in Electrical Engineering at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines with fields of interest in renewable energy, power economics, and energy efficiency. He will pursue further studies taking Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Education at Batangas State University.
Prior to his 8 years of teaching experience at the university, he used to work in the industry as a power plant engineer and later became a campus youth volunteer for Christ's Youth in Action (CYA), doing evangelization and leadership training work for college students nationwide.
Currently, aside from being a program head for CiTL, his designations include being the technical division head of the Affiliated Renewable Energy Center (a funded project of the Department of Energy) and Coordinator of the Electrical Engineering Department in USTP CDO. Engr. Bajuyo is an advocate of CDIO and OBE learning, as evident in the way he handled his classes.

Engr. Carl Angelo P. Suasola earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.
Currently, he's taking his master's degree in Computer Engineering with specialization in Applied Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the same POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
He is currently the Program Head for New Faculty Program at Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL).
Clerical Staff
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Technology from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.
Throughout her academic years, she has been actively engaged in various technopreneurial programs and is passionate about innovation and technological advancements.
Moreover, she diligently participated in diverse Leadership Organizations.
Currently, she is working as an Office Clerk at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL).
Office Staff
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Bukidnon State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Hospitality Management at Lourdes College. Enthusiastic, passionate, and adaptable, he has actively participated in various organizations and extracurricular activities throughout his academic journey.
In addition to his studies, he is currently employed as an office staff member at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL), where he continues to build on his skills and contribute to the success of the organization.
IT and Technical Staff
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) at Cagayan de Oro College (COC) - PHINMA.
Currently, she serves as the Moderator for the USTP - Forerunners organization and has been a Part-time Instructor for Empowerment Technologies (ETECH) at USTP’s Senior High Department.
Additionally, she is pursuing her Master’s degree in Information Technology at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) and works as the IT/Technical Staff at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL).
