Director and Program Heads

Engr. Aileen Amora-Sieras, MoE

Engr. Aileen Sieras earned her bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Mindanao Polytechnic State College, now USTP. She graduated her's master's degree in Computer Engineering at Ateneo de Davao University.

Since 2012, she's been serving as the chairperson for the Department of Computer Engineering under the College of Information Technology and Computing of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.

She was trained at Singapore Polytechnic as a CDIO Trainer for Teaching and Learning Framework.

Currently, she is the Director of the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.


Mr. Arvin E. Narvaza, MAEd

Arvin Narvaza earned his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in English, and his master's degree in Communication Arts from Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan.

He served as an academic head of USTP in 2019, and is now an active faculty of Communication Arts, Languages and Literature.

He's one of EdX Harvard University's Leaders of Learning graduates of 2017 through the American Spaces of the US Embassy in Manila.

Currently, he is a consultant for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP)

Engr. Rojien V. Morcilla, MoE

Engr. Rojien Morcilla earned his bachelor and master degrees from MUST, now known as programs of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Master on Egneering, major in Electrical Engineering, respectively.

He is a certified CDIO Master Trainer trained at Singapore in 2014. Included in his CDIO training is Advancing CDIO which was funded by TEMASEK Foundation.

Since 2011, he's been serving as the chairperson of USTP-CDO's Electrical Engineering Department.

Currently, he is a consultant for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).


Engr. Lloyd Jhon B. Estampa, MSECE

Engr. Lloyd Jhon Estampa earned his bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mindanao Polytechnic State College, now USTP.

He graduated Cum Laude with his master studies in Electronics and Communications Engineering with specialization in control Systems at Mapua University in 2009.

He's been in the teaching arena for 10 years and has served as a department chairperson for 8 years.

He is a CDIO Master Trainer and a Design Thinking Facilitator trained at Singapore. He is also a former Principal of USTP Senior High School.

Currently, he is a consultant for the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL) at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP)

Presently, he is taking his doctorate degree in Technology Education at University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (UST


Engr. Jasper Jay A. Jementiza

Engr. Jasper Jay Jementiza earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.

He has completed his academic requirements for the graduate degree in Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) at the same university. He is one of the CDIO Champions of Cagayan de Oro Campus and a strong advocate of CDIO in his instruction.

He is a licensed Professional Teacher and is presently the Department Chairperson of the Computer Engineering department and Academic Head of USTP-Alubijid Campus.

He's currently the Program Head of the Innovative Teaching Series (ITS)Program at Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL).




Ms. Leah Mae Tabosares


She is a graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English from Xavier University. She completed her academic requirement for Masters in English language and literature from the same university.

Professionally, she taught for over 9 years in the field of English language and literature and research. She is a trainer for LET and Civil Service Examinations, IELTS, TOEFL and Praxis.

Presently she is a Program head for the Teaching Excellence Awards and Design Thinking at Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL), the Academic Head of the Senior High School Department and the Graduate Scholarship Coordinator at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).



Engr. Carl Angelo Suasola

Engr. Carl Angelo P. Suasola earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines.

Currently, he's taking his master's degree in Computer Engineering with specialization in Applied Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics at the same POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES, Sta. Mesa, Manila.

He is currently the Program Head for New Faculty Program at Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CiTL).
