LCRP Opens Discussions for Department Chairs and College Deans

Deans and department chairs of board courses gathered last February 19, 2020 at the ICT Audio Visual Room for the Learning Continuity Review Program (LCRP) initiated by the Vice-chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ruvel Cuasito, and facilitated by the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning (CITL).

Dr. Amparo V. Dinagsao, CITL Director, began the event with the preliminaries and the objectives of the event. Dr. Ruvel Cuasito then followed with his in-depth discussions about the platform and how it shall open opportunities of communication among college deans and departments chairs in terms of the delivery of the curriculum to the students; his discussions also emphasized on how classroom practices simulate learners of the industry, to eliminate the gap between academe and industry. One major implementation for this year shall be the comprehensive examinations of the students prior their clearance completion, and that the examinations shall be conducted through VLE.

Afterwhich, the deans and program heads exchanged questions and points of clarification as to how the exam shall be implemented on its pilot phase. A follow –up meeting was then decided by the participants to ensure the phasing of the preparations and operations of the said exams.
