CDIO Champs Convene for Mentoring Session 2
CDIO Prime movers from Cagayan de Oro, Oroquieta, and Panaon Campuses convene via Zoom for the second Faculty Mentoring and Coaching Session on May 14, 2021. Once again, the champions met with their mentors and colleagues as they shared further how they implemented innovative strategies and techniques in their classes.
Dr. Amparo Vedua-Dinagsao introduces the Faculty Mentoring-Coaching Program to the CDIO Champions from USTP-CDO faculty members.
The Mentors and Mentees gave their ideas on what is Coaching or Mentoring is all about.
In the different break-out sessions, the 20 CDIO champs shared their teaching strategies and class practices while mentors Engr Rojien Morcilla, Engr Lloyd Jhon Estampa, and Engr Aileen Sieras facilitated and further elaborated on some techniques that they can use in their conduct of Flexible Learning.
The mentees shared their teaching and learning experiences to their mentor and other mentees
Engr. Lloyd Jhon B. Estampa shared his experiences on CDIO implementations to their program.
Engr. Aileen Sieras together with the mentees gave their insights on what area they have implemented CDIO.
After the session, the CDIO Champions from USTP CDO Campus have their group photo wearing their CDIO symbol T-shirt for the success of the FMCP session 1.
More specifically, mentoring is more of a friendly sharing with the experiences on pedagogies used, sharing reflections on the effectiveness of the strategies injected during the teaching-learning process, consulting the team, and more importantly learning from co-expert.
On May 14, 2021, Dr. Amparo Vedua-Dinagsao congratulate the faculty members from Panaon & Oroquieta Campus who excel during the Advancing CDIO training. The new champions met their co-champions and their respective mentors for the FMCP Session 2.
The FMCP Session 2 was held via ZOOM Meeting. The session was created through a breakout rooms and met their mentors as well as the mentees. They shared their experiences during the CDIO Training.
